Downsizing Companies: Please Don't Trash Our Future

If your business is downsizing, please don't throw your leftover materials in the trash. Local charities can use all types of items that would otherwise go into a landfill.

Check the Items Needed list below to connect with a charity that asks for similar items.

If all else fails, contact the Wishbook team at wishbook@rochester.rr.com with a general list of your items and we will try to help find a home for them.

Donated items should be clean, useable, and in good or very good condition, with no missing pieces or pages (puzzles, games, books, etc.). Clothing should be clean, and not torn or stained. When in doubt, call the charity. Thanks for your help.

For items that cannot be donated, Monroe County recycling guidelines are provided at www.monroecounty.gov/des-residentialrecycling.php. Near the bottom of that web page is a link to recommendations for recycling Non-Blue Box Program Materials.
