A mentoring program for 6th- to 12th-grade girls in the
Rochester City School District providing guidance, mentoring, and broadening
experiences. Girls are matched one-to-one with women in the Rochester community.
Girls are encouraged to develop life skills, become astute decision-makers,
set goals, and complete their education. Our goal is to make a difference one
girl at a time.

Volunteers Needed
Mentor a middle-school or high-school girl.
Newsletter assistance (editing, reporting, design).
Photograph monthly events (1-3 hours per month).
Present Women Helping Girls "news" to community & business groups.
Assist girls with college application process.
Website updating.
Conduct phone surveys to our volunteers/girls (2-3 times per year).
Drive girls to a monthly Women Helping Girls event (weekends).
Office assistance, mailing, database updates. Work can be done at home or at our office; time commitment is flexible.
