Volunteers Needed

Resident Care: provide basic personal care such as assisting with bathing, oral care, toileting, skin care, ambulation, exercise, and anything else deemed appropriate by the nurse.

Computer IT Person: Requires solid knowledge of Microsoft programs, Outlook, networking, and problem solving computer issues. Requires about 6 hours per month. Please contact us for more information.

Marketing and Advertising: design and create brochures, information packets, posters and fundraising campaign books. Great opportunity for an internship; or for a recent grad or retiree! Contact Maisy Buckley for more information.

Grounds/Maintenance: meet the maintenance needs of the yard and house. Can consist of lawn mowing, snow removal, light maintenance such as changing bulbs, etc. May also include maintenance of equipment or appliances for those with the skills.

Gardening: planting, weeding, clipping, watering, and general garden maintenance.

Fundraising/Public Relations: help raise money through various campaigns and events, and generate and promote communications with the community and the media.

Office/Clerical: assist with duties that include answering the phones and the door, scheduling, faxing, computer work, correspondence, and mailings. Clerical support of fundraising efforts as needed.
