The Traumatic Brain Injury Foundation TBIF, Inc. (TBIF) is a not-for-profit charitable organization created to aid children who have suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their families/caregivers. TBIF will provide support, education, guidance, and advocacy during in-hospital treatment, all phases of rehabilitation, and the transition from hospital to home and home to school.
Services include:
* Helping patients learn to navigate the medical and educational systems.
* Providing support in transitioning from hospital to home and home to school.
* Educating and raising awareness of resources available for traumatic brain injury (TBI).
* Guidance in finding the correct agencies and resources that can help in a child’s rehabilitation.
* Finding support services for patients and their family members.
It is our foundation's desire to help others gain the necessary support, services and knowledge needed to assist their child who has suffered a traumatic brain injury in achieving their optimal recovery.
