A soup kitchen and clothing closet serving the city's west
side for 26 years. Serves approximately 170 per day, and has about 150 volunteers.
Soup kitchen: open M-F, serving a hot meal at lunchtime from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m.
Clothing closet: open Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Wish List
- floral arrangements small (12) for dining tables (spring colors & short enough for conversation)
- pan lids: standard restaurant type
- phone system, cordless: 2 or more phones with answering machine
- repair service for two refrigerator units
- rolling mop bucket and wringer
Volunteers Needed
Opportunities on Mondays: chopping fruits, vegetables, and salad; slicing desserts; pouring beverages; etc.
Drivers for picking up deliveries Tuesday and Friday mornings.
Person to repair cooler.
