From Monday, August 2, 2010, until Thursday, August 19.
Donations Needed: Donations can be dropped off at St. Andrews School Hall, 901 Portland Ave.
Hours: Monday through Friday from 9 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
Note: We cannot accept baby furniture, car seats, or playpens. Furniture must not be ripped, torn, or stained.
All other items are welcome!

Registration & Lunch will begin at 11:30 p.m. with pizza by Gaetano's.
Four-person scramble format. Shotgun Start at 1:00 p.m.
Price of $99 per person, includes green fees, golf cart, lunch, and a buffet dinner with appetizers. .

2010 Finger Lakes Riesling Festival
Saturday and Sunday, August 14 &15, 2010. Benefit for the Canandaigua Family YMCA.
Festival will take place along Lakeshore Drive and Kershaw Park in Canandaigua, NY.
Area wineries. restaurants, artists, and musicians will join together for a weekend celebration of all of the things that make our area so amazing. Featuring live music, locally-grown foods, unique artwork and handicrafts, wine tasting, and more.
Volunteers Needed: Dozens of volunteer opportunities available, including driving golf carts for the "ice and water brigade," working with local bands and celebrities to set up the Battle of the Bands competition, and working in the Farmers Market to answer vendor questions and helping them set up!
All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. There will be  straining two weeks prior to the festival to review volunteer duties and to hand out volunteer t-shirts.

12th Annual Rochester Hospice Regatta - Lifetime Care Hospice

2nd Annual Keuka Lake Dash & Splash 5K & Fun Run - Camp Good Days and Special Times
Sunday, August 22, 2010, starting at the Switzerland Inn, 14109 Keuka Village Road, Hammondsport NY.
• 5K Run begins at 10:00 a.m.     • 1-mile Fun Run starts at 11:00 a.m.
Join this run along the beautiful shores of Keuka Lake. The Dash & Splash is a scenic, gently-rolling, down-and-back course that takes you alongside Keuka Lake, under shaded trees, and past charming lake houses. The entire run takes place just off of Hwy 54 on Keuka Village Road and starts/finishes at the popular lake-side restaurant, The Switz. Proceeds from the event will benefit Camp Good Days.

AIDS Red Ribbon Ride - AIDS Care
Sunday, August 22, 2010, starting at Genesee Valley Park. A 20/50/100-mile one-day bike ride.
Volunteers Needed.
Rest Stops – 10 volunteers to assist with setup of refreshment area, distribution of before- and after-Walk food, and cleaning up. Time commitment 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Base Camp Food – volunteers to to set up the after-ride meal at Genesee Valley Park. Time commitment 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Family Walk - Children Awaiting Parents
Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Ontario Beach Park, Beachfront and Sandpiper pavilions.

Parking available in the lots on the east side of Lake Avenue at Beach Avenue. Please do NOT park on street. Your car may be ticketed or towed
You and your family are invited to join us in a fun-filled day celebrating and supporting the work of Children Awaiting Parents. With your help, Children Awaiting Parents finds homes for hundreds of abandoned, abused, and neglected children each year. The walk is a family event — people of all ages are welcome to walk the handicap-accessible 2.5-mile course.
