Help Needed for Back-to-School Season: In the days ahead, many poverty-stricken families will be visiting Open Door Mission looking for suitable pre-owned children's clothing, and new socks and underwear, for their children to wear as they return to the classroom. Charter school students require black slacks or khakis and red shirts (polo or button-up).
Additionally, we need supplies to fill backpacks,such as pens, pencils, erasers, glue sticks, tissues, wide-ruled writing paper, spiral notebooks, and pocket folders. Donations are gladly accepted any time of the day at our Caring Center, 156 N. Plymouth Ave.

Immediate Needs 8/12/08: dry cereals. powdered milk, chicken; paper towels, bathroom tissue, bleach.
Clothing Program: undergarments (all sizes) for men, women, and children; men's and women's clothing (plus sizes); sneakers (all sizes).
Donations are gladly accepted any time of the day at our Caring Center, 156 N. Plymouth Ave.

allergy medicine, multivitamins, Tylenol, ibuprofen, cough syrup (nonalcoholic), Sudafed/sinus medicines
