Our mission is to prevent kidney disease and urinary tract diseases, to improve
the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases,
and to increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.
The National Kidney Foundation Serving Upstate New York has been instrumental in
the fight against kidney disease by providing educational programs for the community,
dialysis patients, and transplant recipients; funding medical research; providing
transportation and emergency funds for patients, and promoting organ donation.
These efforts are funded by personal donations, corporate sponsorships, fundraisers,
and the kidney car program.
