LIFESPAN provides information, guidance, and services that help older adults take on the challenges and opportunities of the second half of life. Volunteers of all ages play a significant role in helping to fulfill the agency's mission.

Volunteers Needed

Ombudsman: advocates in nursing or adult homes. Training provided.

Financial Management Counselors. Training provided.

Partners in Caring: provide non-medical assistance to older adults.

Fraud Fighters: call-center volunteers to educate older adults about scams and frauds.

Transportation: drive older adults to medical and other appointments.

Health Insurance Consultants: help older adults with choices regarding Medicare and associated health insurance. Training provided.
