The Junior League of Rochester (JLR) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Our activities are supported exclusively by membership dues and fundraising events. We train, volunteer, lead, teach, network, raise funds, make new friends, learn and, most importantly, make an impact in our own community.

Volunteers Needed

The Junior League of Rochester reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. We host informational meetings throughout the year to recruit new members. These meetings give prospective members an opportunity to meet league members in a casual environment, hear about our community projects, and learn more about becoming a member of our volunteer organization. If you would like to attend the next informational meeting or would like additional information on joining, please email jlroch@frontiernet.net or contact (585) 385-8590.
