A not-for-profit accredited organization in existence since 1971 that provides
an array of early-childhood education programs for children between 6 weeks
and 12 years of age; Before/After-School Enrichment program; Summer School-age
Camp; Scholarships for homeless children whose families are transitioning to
permanent housing, training, or counseling. Universal pre-kindergarten program
FREE to all children 4 years of age before December 1.
The center has incorporated an educational program following the practices of
the National Association for the Education of Young Children since receiving
accreditation in 2000. The center is supported by an active Board of Directors,
and by community volunteers.
