To search a specific area
of the website, click on one of the boxes at the top of the Home Page:
– If you have an item to donate, Items
Needed has "Wish List" items requested by the agencies.
– For a complete list of volunteer opportunities, click on
Volunteers Needed.
– For information on a specific agency, click on List
of Agencies.
To search the entire
website, type a search word or words
in the search box on the Home Page, and click on the "Search"
button. Your search word(s) may describe an item you have to donate, a volunteer
skill, an agency name, or a special event.
In any of the
above search results, clicking on an agency's name will take you directly
to the detailed web page for that agency. You can use your browser's "Back"
button (usually at the left end of the Menu bar at the top of the page) to
return to the last screen you viewed.
(From each agency page, you also have the option of going directly to the
Wishbook Home Page, Items Needed index, Volunteers Needed index, or List of
Agencies.)
The detailed page
for each agency includes the agency's name, address, and a brief description
of the agency; plus the phone number and a contact person at the agency.
(Some agencies also list their fax numbers, email addresses, and website
addresses.)
All of the agency's WISH LIST items are listed on their page, as well as a
list of VOLUNTEERS NEEDED by the agency.
Please call the contact
person at the organization to make arrangements for delivery or pickup
of a listed item, or to get details on volunteering.
Contributions are tax deductible
to the extent the law allows. When you make your donation, please include
your name and address, and note that the match was made through the Wishbook.
From the Wishbook Home Page, you
can also click to see a list of Special Events.
For information on the agency that sponsors each special event, click on the
agency's name in the events listing.
Also available from the Home Page is the What's New?
section, which lists all of the latest updates to the website.
