Founded in 1966, East House provides residential, rehabilitation, and career
services to individuals recovering from mental illness and chemical dependency.
Items desired will benefit clients in nine group homes, as well as those in recreation programs.

Volunteers Needed
Provide one-on-one tutoring to individuals in literacy
training, GED preparation, adult basic education, and basic computer skills
training. (Minimum of one hour per week.)
Job Club: recruiters, HR people to help during Job Club or act as guest speakers to job searchers.
Be Classroom Aides. (Training is provided for both tutors and aides.)
Spend an hour or two per week of social time in a group home. Make crafts, play games, take residents for a walk, help out at dinner time, etc.
