The Crisis Nursery of Greater Rochester is dedicated to caring for children in times of family crisis. Types of crisis range from simple to catastrophic, including but not limited to: medical emergencies. unexpected death, unexpected illness, domestic violence, accidents, homelessness, mental health or substance abuse incidents, legal issues, and unemployment.

The Crisis Nursery of Greater Rochester is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days per year. We provide housing for up to six children at one time. Our warm and cozy home is a clean and safe place for children to spend time while families solve problems relating to a crisis.

Volunteers Needed

Childcare volunteers to work one or more shifts per week. Hours are flexible. All volunteers must pass a background check and participate in an orientation.
