Comfort in Crisis is a faith-based agency that reaches out to families with
loved ones in critical-care units. Gift baskets or bags filled with personal-care
items such as lotions, journals, toiletries, phone cards, and many more items
are delivered to families of all beliefs as a symbol of love and hope while
their loved one is being cared for. A Caregiver's Guide is also provided, with
suggestions for dealing with stress, talking with the medical staff, and caring
for oneself. We are funded by donations and through gifts in kind.
