Volunteers Needed
"Be a Big" – Help a child reach his or her potential in a fun,
friendly, one-to-one relationship with life-changing impact. As a "Big,"
you will meet with "Your Little" a few hours every week for at least
one year. What you do and where you go is up to the two of you. One of our professional
staff will be assigned to your match and will be available to support you every
step of the way. We have hundreds of fun (and inexpensive) ideas.
Group activities: For as little as 12 hours per year, join
fun group activities with children waiting to be matched to a Big Brother or
Big Sister. This option is great for busy, caring adults wanting to be the friend
and role model a child needs. Choose from our calendar of events the six
that most interest you, each coordinated and hosted by our staff. Join two or
three children with your simple job to have fun and demonstrate participation,
enthusiasm, and respect. Just show up and be you!
