The YMCA of Greater Rochester is a charitable association of members that seeks to place Christian principles into practice through its programs for the community to build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The YMCA allows complete participation for everyone regardless of ability to pay. To fund this endeavor, the YMCA solicits donations through its Invest in Youth Campaign. This campaign is held annually to raise funds to support those members of our community who, for whatever reason, do not have the financial means to participate in YMCA programs and services. They include: Child Care, Community Outreach, Summer Day Camp, Swimming Lessons and Water Safety, Family Programming, Youth Sports, and Teen Leadership Development.

Volunteers are always needed and accepted upon an approved background check and references. Positions available include:
Child Watch.
Fundraising.
Member Services.
Office support.
Special Event help.
Sports coaches.
Call for other opportunities.
