The mission of the American Diabetes Association is to prevent and cure diabetes, and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

Office volunteer: daily data entry (will train) and assistance with assorted office projects.

Dedicated volunteers familiar with computers, who can do accounts receivable and payable. Also, greet visitors.

Help with our Step Out to Fight Diabetes Walk, a three-mile walk held at Camp Arrowhead on October 4, 2008. Contact Peter Knappen at (585) 458-3040 x3474.

Prize/Sponsorship Committee: contact businesses to secure sponsor dollars and incentive prizes for various events.

Camp Aspire/Camp Rainbow: volunteer counselors and medical staff for overnight and day camp.

School Walk volunteers: help contact local elementary schools to coordinate walks.

Volunteers to attend health fairs and pass out information.
