Lifetime Care provides passionate caring and personalized care through a wide array of home care services, offering patients independence and convenience. Our hospice care provides peace, comfort, and dignity to those in the late stages of terminal illness. Lifetime Care also offers support services for care providers and a comprehensive Bereavement Program to help members of the community navigate the journey of loss and grief.

Through Lifetime Care's Bereavement Program, "A Caring Place" was created to provide children, teens and their families a safe place to come together and receive support and comfort in their grief and to learn effective ways of coping with their feelings and experiences of loss.

A Caring Place Eight-Week Bereavement Support Group:
Professionally facilitated age-specific subgroups offer programming and structured activities to foster understanding and healing, build communication skills, and encourage the expression of challenging feelings in a safe and caring environment. While the children and teens are in their groups, a separately facilitated group provides parents and guardians with support, resources, and tools to help their children and teens navigate the difficult journey of bereavement. This group addresses many challenges, including caring for a family system when parents and guardians carry their own burden of grief.
