289 Recovery Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that has been providing a
safe haven for individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction in the
Rochester community for the last 15 years. Various types of 12-step groups meet
every day within the facility. The organization also provides classes to teach
living and social skills, hosts social events such as dances and dinner parties,
and periodically offers household items for those striving for independent living.

Volunteers Needed
HVAC service technician: service furnace and a/c twice a year.
Carpet cleaners: clean all rugs 4 times a year.
Tile cleaners: strip and wax floors 4 times a year.
DJs for various social events. (Equipment provided; just bring your music.)
Coffee servers and kitchen help during special events, and Monday through Friday
9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
